Asahina Mahiru, a college student influencer, wanders into the secret nation of “Malkut” while searching for a missing senior. Both the originals and their clones have chips called “Nodes” implanted in their necks, allowing their emotions and actions to be monitored and recorded 24 hours a day, forming a thoroughly controlled society.
