Martin Short
Biografia
Ten kanadyjski komik rozpoczął karierę w 1970 roku choć jeszcze podczas studiów miał być pracownikiem opieki społecznej. Pracował w teatrze muzycznym i kabarecie. W 1982 roku rozpoczął pracę w "SCTV Comedy Network", a prawdziwym krokiem do sławy stał się angaż do popularnego programu "Saturday Night Live" w NBC (1984-85). Jego talent i ekscentryczną naturę zauważono i doceniono w filmie "The Big Picture" (1989). W tym samym roku Short powrócił do telewizji z własnym "The Martin Short Show". Niestety, publiczność przyjęła program chłodno i wkrótce zniknął on z anteny.
