Billy Dee Williams
Biografia
Karierę aktorską rozpoczął w wieku 7. lat w teatrach w Harlemie pod opieką aktora Sidney'a Poitiera. Potem ukończył studia aktorskie i zdobył pewien rozgłos grając od 1961 r. na Broadway'u, m.in. w sztukach "A Cool World" i "Smak miodu". Zadebiutował w kinowym dramacie Daniela Manna "The Last Angry Man" (1959). Grywał także w serialach telewizyjnych, m.in. "Another World" (1960), "Guiding Light" (1966), "The FBI" (1969,1970), "Mission: Impossible" (1971) oraz "Dynastia" (1984-1985) jako Brady Lloyd. Popularność zdobył dzięki roli kosmicznego awanturnika Lando Calrissiana w filmiach z serii "gwiezdnej sagi" -"Imperium kontratakuje" (1980) Irvina Kershnera i "Powrót Jedi" (1983) Richarda Marquand'a.
