Leonard Nimoy
Biografia
Pochodzi ze średnio zamożnej rodziny żydowskiej. Był studentem Boston College i Antioch College, studiował aktorstwo w Pasadena Playhouse. Grał drugorzędne role w filmach, m.in.: "Rhubarb" (reż. Arthur Lubin), "Francis Goes to West Point" (reż. A. Lubin), "The Brain Eaters" (reż. Bruno VeSota), "The Balcony" (reż. Joseph Strick), "Valley of Mystery" (reż. Józef Lejtes), "Aresztuję cię, przyjacielu" (reż. Sam Wanamaker), "Inwazja porywaczy ciał" (reż. Philip Kaufman). Sławę zawdzięcza sugestywnej postaci doktora Spocka w bardzo popularnym serialu TV "Star Trek", wokół którego powstał cykl filmów kinowych. Występował także w serialach: "Mission: Impossible" (1969-1971), "Search of…". Odniósł sukces na Broadwayu w sztuce Petera Shaffera "Equus" (1977), a także w spektaklu "Vincent", o van Goghu. Opublikował kilka zbiorów swoich utworów poetyckich ("You and I", "I Thing of You") i autobiograficzne "I Am Not Spock" (1975). Podkładał także głos w bajce "Transformers- The movie" dowódcy niecnych Decepticonów, Galvatronowi.
